What Makes Our Mobile Zip Line Different

Ziplines are not a common attraction at fairs and festivals — which is exactly why our mobile zip line creates events guests remember for years. With two parallel lines launching at once, the dual-lane setup is ideal for races, team-building events, and keeping high-volume lines moving smoothly.

Our setup follows ASTM F2959 standards, manufacturer specifications, and our own documented safety protocols for aerial adventure equipment. Every rental is fully insured under our commercial liability policy, and our team is trained to the standards outlined in our customer training documentation. Zip lines can be set up outdoors or indoors, as long as you have the required space.

Space required: A flat area of approximately 200 ft × 25 ft with 32 ft of vertical clearance, free of overhead wires, tree branches, or other obstructions.

The Auto-Retract™ Braking System: Why It Matters

Our mobile zip line is manufactured by Spectrum Sports International, the same group that pioneered auto-belay safety systems for rock climbing walls over 17 years ago. Their patented Auto-Retract™ braking system smoothly slows the rider over only the final 10% of the ride, using a brake line to gently absorb the energy.

This matters more than most people realize. Many other mobile zip line systems rely on impact-style brakes that produce a sudden, jarring stop — and severe whiplash motion. The Auto-Retract™ system eliminates that risk entirely. It also automatically returns the trolley to the launch tower for the next rider, which is what makes 70-90 riders per hour throughput possible.

Charging for Zip Line Rides at Your Event

Many of our school, church, and fundraising clients use the zip line as a ticketed attraction at their event — and it can generate serious revenue. Based on customer feedback, the most successful pricing model is:

  • $10 for the first ride per participant
  • $5 for each additional ride by the same rider

This is a suggestion based on what has worked best for our customers, but ultimately ticket pricing is up to you as the event coordinator. A 3-hour event with 200+ riders can gross between $2,500 and $4,000 in ticket revenue when priced this way. Many of our clients use this revenue to offset other event costs — see our customer testimonials for real success stories.

Waivers Required for All Riders

Every participant must sign a waiver before riding the zip line. We provide paper waivers at the event for guests, and parents or guardians sign for any minor. If you want to review the waiver in advance or print copies for parents to sign before the event, you can access it on our waiver page.

Optional: Add a dedicated waiver attendant. For an additional hourly rate, we can include a staff member whose only job is collecting waivers at check-in. This keeps the line moving significantly faster and lets our ziplining staff stay focused on harness safety and ride operation. Most clients with crowds over 100 add this — ask us about it when you request your quote.
